      Dr Thomas REINDL is Deputy CEO of the Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) and Principal Research Fellow (equivalent to Associate Professor) at the National University of Singapore (NUS).

      He started with photovoltaics (PV) in 1992 at the SIEMENS Corporate R&D Labs. After holding several management positions at SIEMENS and running one of the leading German PV system integration companies (ILIOTEC Solar) as Chief Operating Officer and their spin-off company (PROACTIVE new energy) as Managing Director, he joined SERIS in 2010 and soon became Director of the Solar Energy System cluster. During his time at SERIS, he won public research grants in excess of SGD 20 million, founded 2 spin-off companies and authored strategic scientific papers such as the "PV Roadmap for Singapore".

      Dr. Reindl holds a Master in Chemistry, a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences and an MBA from INSEAD, all awarded with highest honours. His research interest are high-performance PV systems, techno-economic road-mapping and the reliable integration of renewable energies into energy supply systems.

Before joining Wood Mackenzie, Molly was an account manager at CivicSolar, helping solar PV installers design their systems and selling them equipment. Molly holds a bachelor’s degree in global studies from Colby College, with a concentration in environmental studies.

      Arnoud van Druten, born in the Netherlands, graduated as a Mechanical Engineer as well as a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam. As part of his master’s degree he defined the measurable criteria on sustainability for comparing energy companies. Next to this he finalized a study on “The strategic value of sustainable energy”. After joining several international consultancy companies and start-ups in the Energy and IT related industry he joined Floating Solar B.V. as General Manager. Hereby combining his technical, consultancy and business development expertise to advise customers on solar tracking floatable powerplants.

      Stanislas is a core member of Multiconsult’s solar energy advisory team since 2013, specializing in solar PV projects in emerging markets: development, planning, design, simulation (PVsyst expert), structuring, engineering, construction supervision and commissioning. He has worked with solar PV since 2008. The projects he has been working on have ranged from off-grid systems to utility-scale solar power plants for several hundred MW. He has extensive experience with grid-connected solar projects on large rooftops, ground-mounted and floating.
      He is currently undertaking a Ph.D. degree together with Multiconsult and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) on hybridization of hydropower plants with floating PV. Stanislas also holds a M.Sc. in Energy Systems and Renewable Energy (from France and Spain) and has experience with several forms of renewable energy technologies including solar energy, hydropower, wind energy, eMulticonsulttricity storage, hydrogen technology, bioenergy and fuel cells.
      Previously, Stanislas has worked as Project Manager for the development of solar power plants on commercial and industrial rooftops on IPP basis in France. He has also worked two years as Project Coordinator in the Department for Scientific Cooperation of the Embassy of France in Norway. He has been active in setting and operationalizing high-quality R&D projects in renewable energy. Since then, he has also been working with innovative pilot projects such as hybrid PV / storage in Antarctica and floating PV on sea water in Africa.
      In addition to a wide range of projects in Norway, all related to solar PV, Stanislas has extensive international experience from solar projects ranging from Eastern/Southern Africa and Central/Southeast Asia to Antarctica. His solar energy competence is matched by his language skills in French, English, Spanish and Norwegian.
      Stanislas has also been board member of the Norwegian Solar Energy Association as well as of Engineers Without Borders Norway (IUG). He has been awarded the prizes "Norway’s Young Consultant of the Year" by the Norwegian Association of Consulting Engineers (RIF) in 2017 and "Europe’s Young Professional of the Year" by the European Federation of Engineering Consultancy Associations (EFCA) in 2018.

      After finishing his master degree in business economics at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, Harold started his career as commercial banker in 1996. Harold has worked at several Dutch banks, and has fulfilled rolls in relationship management, structuring management buy outs, risk management and general management. After a post-doc study Corporate Social Responsibility at Erasmus Universiteit, he joined the Triodos Renewables Energy team. Harold’s main focusses are solarprojects and heat- and coldstorage projects in the Dutch market. As Triodos is a frontrunner in renewable energy since their origination in the 1980s, Harold is very interested in financing new technologies. His main goal is to contribute to fighting the climate change.

I use this understanding to inform policy and practice, with the underpinning aim of promoting the delivery of environmental benefits, beyond that of low carbon energy, from the energy transition. Working collaboratively with stakeholders from across sectors is central to my work. Projects are funded by UK research councils and industry.

      Natascha is a real estate Partner at international law firm Eversheds Sutherland. She specialises in administrative law relating to specific real estate issues, environmental law (EHS) and planning and zoning, with a focus on energy projects.

      Natascha regularly advises land owners, renewable energy developers and property developers on matters regarding compliance requirements, EHS requirements, obtaining energy subsidies, land acquisition process including zoning and permitting, drafting of reservations and option and sale purchase agreements.

      Natascha has broad domestic and international experience and is highly recommended for negotiating with local and national authorities. She is admitted to practice law in the Netherlands and speaks fluent Dutch, English and French. She holds a degree from Groningen University in public and international law (1993). Natascha has lived and worked abroad in D.R. Congo, Egypt, Reunion and Greece.

In his current role as Head of the Sustainable Project Finance Team, Marc is responsible for project financing of sustainable investments, including solar, wind and other sustainable projects and new business models with focus on the local Dutch market. His personal drive is to connect parties and he believes that with collaboration good results are always achievable.       Feyswal is a Solar Consultant based in 3E’s office in Paris. Feyswal graduated from the École Nationale Supérieur de Cognitique, a top French engineering school, before specialising through a Master of Science in solar energy at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia.
      Feyswal started his career in 2011 at 3E, in our office in Toulouse, as a PV Expert for two years. He then moved to our headquarters in Brussels where he integrated with 3E’s R&D team for two years, supporting them in the development and improvement of tools used by the consultancy teams.
      Following this R&D experience, Feyswal joined another top renewable energy consultancy firm in Paris, where he developed his skills as a project manager for two years before joining 3E again in 2017 as a senior project manager in 3E’s Paris office.
      Both as project manager and a project team member, Feyswal has demonstrated advanced skills and commitment to his projects, working on multi-megawatt solar PV projects where the scope of his works included technical due diligences, energy assessments, site inspections and construction monitoring, data analysis and performance review. Feyswal has taken an active role in PV projects in a variety of countries, including France, the United Kingdom, Holland, Senegal, Guinea, South Africa, Egypt, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and India .

      After completing his engineering Master degree in Hydrodynamics, Paul worked for 2 years as a naval architect for a large Oil&Gas engineering company, with a focus on floating platform projects. He furthered his skills and knowledge in this specific field at an English company specialized in Civil Engineering & Environmental Hydraulics, for which he ran basin tests, vessel navigation simulations and moorings. His sensibility to renewable energies as one of the key issues of the XXIst century has pushed him to join Ciel & Terre in 2018 to contribute to the development of Floating Solar worldwide thanks to his valuable assessment of wave loads and dynamic behavior.

      William Otto has a master degree in ship hydrodynamics from Delft University. His expertise is in the wave-induced motion response and forces on floating structures. In his 8 years with MARIN, a leading hydrodynamic research institute, he has gained experience in model testing and numerical simulations on moored vessels. He has a large interested in floating solar and is eager to apply his and MARIN’s knowledge to help to realize floating solar at sea.

      Gino is a Principal Engineer within the offshore renewable energy team at ITPEnergised and has over 10 years’ experience in R&D, project management, engineering design, and project development services. Gino has extensive experience with a wide range of renewables covering tidal stream, tidal lagoons, floating offshore wind, floating PV and wave energy projects. He has supported project developers, tech companies, local governments and investors across the globe. Prior to moving to the renewable energy industry in 2008, Gino worked in both the nuclear and gas industries.
      In 2016, Gino led a consortium of industry experts in providing technical support to the Independent Review of Tidal Lagoons (Hendry Review) commissioned by the UK Government’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS). He is currently leading the design and development of a floating platform to support tidal turbines for Canadian technology developers. In addition, Gino has experience in floating wind, recently writing a report (published by the Institution of Energy and Technology) entitled, “Use of Floating Foundations for Offshore Wind Turbines”.
      Gino is a Chartered Engineer, a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and holds an MSc in Renewable Energy from the University of Newcastle, for which he received a distinction. Gino also holds a BEng (hons) degree from the University of Edinburgh in Mechanical Engineering .
